2010 has been a successful, varied and interesting year.

Agricultural

• Barn conversion at Colton to form a mixed use development of Holiday Lets and Bed and Breakfast accommodation.
• Discharging of planning Conditions for a replacement Farm House at Melbourne.
• Change of use of Farm office to Holiday unit at Aldwalk.
• Redevelopment of Farm yard at Luddington North Lincs. to form 3 dwellings.
• Feasibility surveys of farm buildings and farm houses.
• Structural Surveys of Barns.

Commercial

• Conversion of the Bay View Hotel at Bridlington to form 10 flats.
• Extension to a Commercial Garage at Otley.
• Outline Planning Approval for 53 homes at Newport.
• Factory extension for YARA Analytical Services under permitted development at Pocklington Industrial Estate.
• Redevelopment of the BATA site at Gate Helmsley to form three new dwellings and conversion of the existing outbuildings.
• Submissions of non material amendments for a Cattery at Gowthorpe.
• Extension to shop at Bishopthorpe.
• Bat surveys and reports for various locations.

Domestic

• Extension of a bungalow at East Cottingwith.
• Extension to a cottage at Melbourne.
• Renewal of planning permission for a dwelling in the garden at Gilberdyke.
• Bat surveys at various locations.

Estates

• Internal cottage alterations and extensions and car park layouts for Estates in North Yorkshire.
• Bat surveys – domestic and farm buildings - for Estates in North Yorkshire.

Over 50 projects were completed in 2010, including Building Regulation Applications, all on a fixed fee basis agreed at the time of instruction.
